Missouri High School Basketball - Jefferson fells Valle Catholic
January 23, 2024: Festus, MO 63028 Jefferson Blue Jays (Festus, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Valle Catholic Warriors (Ste. Genevieve, MO), 72-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Blue Jays host Grandview (Hillsboro, MO) to play the Eagles in a Jefferson County - Small bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Grandview won 75-41 in their recent non-league bout against Viburnum (Viburnum, MO)
Next up, the Warriors play the West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO) in a Mineral Area - Small bout, on Friday, January 26. Valle Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 49-20 non-league win over Crystal City (Crystal City, MO).
