January 23, 2024: Stratford, CT 06615 The Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) basketball crushed the host Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT), 80-41 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (11-0) will now prepare for their test against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Rebels go into the Southwest test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, New Fairfield walloped Bethel (Bethel, CT), 43-27, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Newtown for a Southwest test on Friday, January 26. Stratford will encounter a Nighthawks squad coming off a 71-63 league win over New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-6.
