Minnesota High School Basketball - Twin Cities Academy/Great River fells Lakes International Language Academy
January 23, 2024: Forest Lake, MN Twin Cities Academy/Great River (St. Paul, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lakes International Language Academy (Forest Lake, MN), 84-73 in a league bout.
With the win, Twin Cities Academy/Great River upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The travel to Edison (Minneapolis, MN) to clash with the Tommies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Tommies go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Edison lost 73-58 in their recent non-league bout against North Community (Minneapolis, MN)
Next up, the clash with the United Christian Academy Eagles (Bloomington, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Lakes International Language Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 76-51 non-league loss to Heritage Christian (Karlstad, MN).
