Ohio High School Basketball - Middletown Christian can't hold off Thurgood Marshall
January 23, 2024: Dayton, OH 45417 The Thurgood Marshall Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Middletown Christian Eagles to 58 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunbar for a Dayton Public contest on Friday, January 26. Thurgood Marshall will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 63-58 non-league loss to Chaminade Julienne Catholic (Dayton, OH). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-7.
The Eagles (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Miami Valley (Dayton, OH). The Rams enter the Metro Buckeye contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Miami Valley nudged Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH), 54-49, in a non-league contest.
