Vermont High School Basketball - Mill River topped by Woodstock
January 23, 2024: Woodstock, VT 05091 The Woodstock Wasps basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Mill River Minutemen to 49 in the Wasps non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wasps now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leland & Gray for a Southern Vermont - C contest on Friday, January 26. Woodstock will battle a Rebels team coming off a 65-46 league loss to Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT). The Rebels record now stands at 2-10.
The Minutemen (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Poultney (Poultney, VT). The Blue Devils come into the Southern Vermont - D contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Poultney prevailed over West Rutland (West Rutland, VT), 56-54, in a league contest.
