Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Hills nudges Penn-Trafford
January 23, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15229 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA), by a count of 78-72.
The Indians (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Mars (Mars, PA). The Fightin' Planets go into the WPIAL 5A 4 challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Mars was edged by Montour (McKees Rocks, PA), 69-48, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Warriors play the Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Penn-Trafford will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 72-62 non-league win over Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA).
