January 23, 2024: Stillman Valley, IL 61084 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) and the host Stillman Valley Cardinals (Stillman Valley, IL), saw Rockford Christian's basketball squad hold off Stillman Valley by a tally of 84-77.
With the victory, Rockford Christian improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Royal Lions travel to Winnebago (Winnebago, IL) to confront the Indians in a Big Northern challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Winnebago lost 58-40 in their recent non-league challenge against East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Rochelle Hubs (Rochelle, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Stillman Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Hubs come into the challenge with a 8-15 record after their 100-78 non-league loss to Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL).
