January 23, 2024: Roseglen, ND 58775 The Wilton/Wing Miners (Wilton, ND) basketball knocked off the host White Shield Warriors (Roseglen, ND), 76-66 in Tuesday's league test.
The Miners (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] (Turtle Lake, ND). The Cougars go into the B District 6 test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] notched a victory over Center-Stanton (Center, ND), 61-58, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Garrison for a B District 6 test on Saturday, January 27. White Shield will encounter a Troopers squad coming off a 73-67 league loss to Washburn (Washburn, ND). The Troopers record now stands at 11-4.
