Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) and the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN), saw Barr-Reeve's basketball squad overcome Eastern Greene by a tally of 49-36.

With the victory, Barr-Reeve improves its record to 10-11 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Knox (Bicknell, IN) to confront the Warriors in a Blue Chip challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 22-1. North Knox won 42-19 in their recent league challenge against Loogootee (Loogootee, IN)

Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Clay City Eels (Clay City, IN) in a Southwestern Indiana challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Eastern Greene will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Eels come into the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 37-30 non-league loss to Northview (Brazil, IN).
