Kentucky High School Basketball - Scott overwhelms Beechwood
January 23, 2024: Covington, KY 41015 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) and the visiting Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY), saw Scott's basketball squad wallop Beechwood by a tally of 52-18.
With the victory, Scott improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Campbell County (Alexandria, KY) to confront the Camels in a District 37 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Camels come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Campbell County lost 60-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts (Erlanger, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Beechwood will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Juggernauts come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 55-36 league loss to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY).
