Oklahoma High School Basketball - Destiny Christian topped by Bishop McGuinness
January 23, 2024: Del City, OK 73155 The Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Destiny Christian Wildcats to 31 in the Fighting Irish non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ardmore for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Bishop McGuinness will battle a Tigers team coming off a 86-44 league loss to Riverside Indian (Anadarko, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 6-11.
The Wildcats (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Academy (Rogers, AR). The Patriots come into the Heartland Christian contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Providence Academy prevailed over Ozark Adventist Academy (Gentry, AR), 55-20, in a league contest.
