January 23, 2024: East Swanzey, NH 03446 The Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT) basketball felled the host Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH), 49-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT). The Terriers go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Bellows Falls thwarted Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT), 56-29, in a non-league test.
The Huskies now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Newport for a Division III test on Friday, January 26. Monadnock will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 36-31 non-league loss to Hinsdale (Hinsdale, NH). The Tigers record now stands at 1-11.
