January 23, 2024: Cherokee, OK 73728 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Chiefs (Cherokee, OK) and the visiting Waynoka Railroaders (Waynoka, OK), saw Cherokee's basketball squad wallop Waynoka by a tally of 63-24.
With the victory, Cherokee improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Canton (Canton, OK) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Canton won 43-27 in their recent league challenge against Mooreland (Mooreland, OK)
Next up, the Railroaders play the Medford Cardinals (Medford, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Waynoka will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 70-28 league loss to Lomega (Omega, OK).
