Maryland High School Basketball - Churchill overwhelms Magruder
January 23, 2024: Potomac, MD 20854 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) and the visiting Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD), saw Churchill's basketball squad wallop Magruder by a count of 45-24.
With the victory, Churchill upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Damascus (Damascus, MD) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 10-1.
Next up, the Colonels play the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Magruder will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Screamin' Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 53-50 non-league win over Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD).
