Indiana High School Basketball - Speedway topples Indianapolis Lutheran

In Tuesday's league outing, the Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting Indianapolis Lutheran Saints (Indianapolis, IN), by a count of 59-49.

The Sparkplugs (14-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cascade (Clayton, IN). The Cadets go into the Indiana Crossroads outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, Cascade defeated Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN), 48-42, in a non-league outing.

The Saints now hold a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Morristown for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 25. Indianapolis Lutheran will clash with a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 38-32 non-league loss to Knightstown (Knightstown, IN). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 9-13.
