Louisiana High School Basketball - West Feliciana holds off McKinley
January 23, 2024: Baton Rouge, LA 70802 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Feliciana Saints (St. Francisville, LA) and the host McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA), saw West Feliciana's basketball squad hold off McKinley by a tally of 54-49.
With the victory, West Feliciana improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Saints host Livonia (Livonia, LA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-13. Livonia won 53-25 in their recent non-league challenge against East Feliciana (Jackson, LA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. McKinley will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 1-19 record after their 51-17 league loss to Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA).
