In Tuesday's league match, the host Millbrook Pioneers basketball team scored a tight 59-58 triumph over the Skyline Hawks.

In their next game, the Pioneers meet the Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) in a Northwestern match, on Friday, January 26. Millbrook will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 6-8 record after their 36-30 league loss to Fauquier (Warrenton, VA).
