January 23, 2024: Grants Pass, OR 97526 The North Valley Knights basketball team (Grants Pass, OR), was overwhelmed 53-22 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR)
The Bulldogs now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cascade Christian for a 3A Far West battle on Friday, January 26. Sutherlin will confront a Challengers team coming off a 62-14 league win over Glide (Glide, OR). The Challengers record now stands at 12-5.
The Knights (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Lancers come into the 3A Far West battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, South Umpqua was overwhelmed by Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR), 47-26, in a league battle.
