Michigan High School Basketball - Norway holds off West Iron County
January 23, 2024: Iron River, MI 49935 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Norway Knights (Norway, MI) and the host West Iron County Wykons (Iron River, MI), saw Norway's basketball squad hold off West Iron County by a tally of 63-60.
With the victory, Norway improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI) to confront the Flivvers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Flivvers come into the challenge with a record of 4-8.
Next up, the Wykons confront the Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. West Iron County will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Eskymos come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 49-30 non-league win over Hancock (Hancock, MI).
