January 23, 2024: King, NC 27021 Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC), 21-6 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Cougar host Shining Light Academy (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-9.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Alamance Christian Warriors (Graham, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Woodland Baptist Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 39-33 league win over Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC).
