Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA), 40-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Skyline upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Hawks host Meridian (Falls Church, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 10-1. Meridian won 38-10 in their recent non-league bout against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA)
