January 23, 2025: Calera, OK 74730 Calera Bulldogs (Calera, OK) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Achille Golden Eagles (Achille, OK), 65-40 in a league match.
With the victory, Calera advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Colbert (Colbert, OK) to face the Leopards in a Bryan County match on Friday, January 24. The Leopards enter the match with a record of 11-4. Colbert lost 90-41 in their recent league match against Caddo (Caddo, OK)
The Golden Eagles now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tushka for a Bryan County match on Saturday, January 25. Achille will face a Tigers squad coming off a 47-36 non-league loss to Rock Creek (Bokchito, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
