Kentucky High School Basketball - Bethlehem can't hold off Breckinridge County
January 23, 2025: Bardstown, KY 40004 Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY), 61-57 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Breckinridge County advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Fighting Tigers host Frederick Fraize (Cloverport, KY) to face the Aces in a District 11 match on Friday, January 24. The Aces enter the match with a record of 0-6.
The Eagles/Banshees now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bardstown for a District 19 match on Tuesday, January 28. Bethlehem will face a Tigers squad coming off a 61-32 league win over Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
