In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Piedmont Wildcats basketball team scored a good 63-46 win over the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish.

The Wildcats (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, OK). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record.

In their next game, the Fighting Irish battle the Ponca City Wildcats (Ponca City, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record.
