In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Crete Cardinals basketball team scored a good 67-55 win over the Blair Bears.

The Cardinals (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE). The Antlers come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Elkhorn was topped by Gretna East (Gretna, NE), 57-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Blair will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Cyclones come into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 83-51 league loss to Kuemper (Carroll, IA).
