The Sargent Farmers basketball squad (Monte Vista, CO), was nudged 46-42 in Thursday's league battle with the host Center Vikings (Center, CO)

With the victory, Center advances its record to 10-4 on the year. The Vikings host Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO) to meet the Titans in a 3A/2A Southern Peaks battle on Friday, January 24. The Titans enter the battle with a record of 4-3. Crested Butte won 60-57 in their recent non-league battle against Caprock Academy (Grand Junction, CO)

The Farmers now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monte Vista for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. Sargent will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 58-41 league loss to Centauri (La Jara, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 7-4.
