The Central Plains Oilers (Claflin, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Little River Redskins (Little River, KS), 52-30 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Oilers now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Macksville for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Central Plains will play a Mustangs team coming off a 64-57 non-league win over Cimarron (Cimarron, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-2.
