The East St. Louis Flyers (East St. Louis, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Miller Career Academy (St. Louis, MO), 61-52 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Flyers now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Urbana for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. East St. Louis will play a Tigers team coming off a 62-59 league win over Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Miller Career Academy falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The travel to O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-13.
