January 23, 2025: East Cleveland, OH 44112 The East Tech Scarabs (Cleveland, OH) basketball edged the host Shaw Cardinals (East Cleveland, OH), 42-37 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Scarabs now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bard Early College for a Senate bout on Friday, January 24. East Tech will play a Raptors team coming off a 67-30 league loss to John F. Kennedy (Cleveland, OH). The Raptors record now stands at 1-11.
With the loss, Shaw falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Benedictine (Cleveland, OH) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Benedictine won 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Revere (Richfield, OH)
