Kentucky High School Basketball - Iroquois holds off Portland Christian
January 23, 2025: Louisville, KY 40215 The Iroquois Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Portland Christian Eagles to 47 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Raiders now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Shawnee for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Iroquois will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 68-48 non-league loss to Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, Portland Christian falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Central (Louisville, KY) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a District 25 game on Friday, January 24. The Yellow Jackets go into the game with a record of 4-8.
