January 23, 2025: Leesburg, VA 20175 Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA), 68-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Loudoun County advances its record to 7-8 on the year. The Captains travel to John Champe (Aldie, VA) to face the Knights in a Catoctin match on Monday, January 27. The Knights enter the match with a record of 2-12. John Champe lost 51-49 in their recent non-league match against Dominion (Sterling, VA)
The Phoenix now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuscarora for a Dulles match on Monday, January 27. Rock Ridge will face a Huskies squad coming off a 76-57 league win over Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 11-5.
