Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sharpsville overwhelms Wilmington
January 23, 2025: Sharpsville, PA 16150 The Sharpsville Blue Devils basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Wilmington Greyhounds to 44 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Devils now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Kennedy Catholic for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Sharpsville will confront a team coming off a 87-7 non-league loss to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA). The record now stands at 2-11.
With the loss, Wilmington falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA) to confront the Big Reds in a District 10 Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Big Reds go into the game with a record of 5-10. West Middlesex lost 43-38 in their recent non-league game against Greenville (Greenville, PA)
