January 23, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), 61-17 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cibola advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Cougars host Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Monarchs in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Monarchs enter the match with a record of 1-9. Manzano lost 53-49 in their recent non-league match against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM)
The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Piedra Vista will face a Storm squad coming off a 58-53 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Storm record now stands at 6-2.
