The Blair Bears (Blair, NE) basketball were winner over the host Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE), 54-37 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Harlan for a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. Blair will play a Cyclones team coming off a 63-57 league win over Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Crete falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE) to play the Antlers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. The Antlers go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Elkhorn lost 57-25 in their recent league bout against Gretna East (Gretna, NE)
