In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Weeping Water Indians basketball team scored a good 54-44 triumph over the Brownell Talbot Raiders.

The Indians (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sterling (Sterling, NE). The Jets go into the non-league contest with a 2-11 record.

In their next game, the Raiders confront the Parkview Christian Patriots (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Brownell Talbot will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 1-12 record after their 50-10 non-league loss to Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE).
