The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Diller-Odell Griffin (Odell, NE) and the host Lawrence-Nelson Raiders (Nelson, NE), observed Diller-Odell's basketball team knock off Lawrence-Nelson by a score of 51-35.

The Griffin (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanover (Hanover, KS). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Hanover prevailed over Blue Valley (Randolph, KS), 59-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Lawrence-Nelson will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
