Oklahoma High School Basketball - Douglass overwhelms Ponca City
January 23, 2025: Oklahoma City, OK 73117 The Douglass Trojans basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Ponca City Wildcats to 20 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop McGuinness for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Douglass will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 60-52 non-league loss to Holland Hall (Tulsa, OK). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Ponca City falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Stillwater (Stillwater, OK) to confront the Pioneers in a 6A District 3 game on Friday, January 24. The Pioneers go into the game with a record of 3-10. Stillwater won 71-17 in their recent league game against Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK)
