In Thursday's league test, the Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) basketball squad knocked off the host Tea Titans (Tea, SD), by a score of 59-45.

Next, the Kernels encounter the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Sioux Falls, SD) in a AA test, on Tuesday, January 28. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Rough Riders come into the test with a 4-7 record after their 64-36 league loss to O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD).

The Titans (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers come into the non-league test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Sioux Falls Christian beat Madison (Madison, SD), 71-18, in a non-league test.
