Illinois High School Basketball - Willows Academy overwhelms Richmond-Burton
January 23, 2025: Richmond, IL 60071 The Willows Academy Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Richmond-Burton Rockets to 32 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Illinois Math & Science Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Willows Academy will play a Titans team coming off a 32-26 non-league loss to Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Titans record now stands at 3-10.
With the loss, Richmond-Burton falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Rockets host Harvard (Harvard, IL) to play the Hornets in a Kishwaukee River game on Friday, January 24.
