Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), 41-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Prospect upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Knights host Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL) to play the Grenadiers in a Mid-Suburban - East bout on Thursday, January 27. The Grenadiers go into the bout with a record of 4-16. Elk Grove lost 81-55 in their recent non-league bout against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL)

Next up, the Giants play the Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Highland Park will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record.
