Kansas High School Basketball - Little River overwhelms Peabody-Burns
January 24, 2022: Peabody, KS 66866 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Little River Redskins (Little River, KS) and the host Peabody-Burns Warriors (Peabody, KS), saw Little River's basketball squad wallop Peabody-Burns by a count of 58-32.
With the victory, Little River upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Solomon (Solomon, KS) to play the Gorillas in a Wheat State challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Gorillas come into the challenge with a record of 9-3.
Next up, the Warriors play the Chase County Bulldogs (Cottonwood Falls, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Peabody-Burns will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 56-31 non-league win over Northern Heights (Allen, KS).
