Washington High School Basketball - Rainier Beach edges Mount Tahoma

January 24, 2022: Tacoma, WA 98409

The Rainier Beach Vikings (Seattle, WA) basketball nipped the host Mount Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA), 67-65 in Monday's non-league test.

The Vikings (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Seattle, WA). The Roughriders go into the 3A Metro test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Roosevelt was tipped by O'Dea (Seattle, WA), 70-48, in a league test.

The T-Birds now own a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Spanaway Lake for a 3A Pierce County test on Tuesday, January 25. Mount Tahoma will encounter a Sentinels squad coming off a 64-49 non-league loss to Eastlake (Sammamish, WA). The Sentinels record now stands at 7-5.
