Minnesota High School Basketball - Blue Earth nips Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center]
January 24, 2022: Blue Earth, MN 56013 Blue Earth Buccaneers (Blue Earth, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans (Montgomery, MN), 51-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Blue Earth upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to New Ulm (New Ulm, MN) to play the Eagles in a AAA Section 2 bout on Thursday, January 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-7. New Ulm lost 45-38 in their recent league bout against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN)
Next up, the Titans play the Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN) in a AA Section 2 bout, on Thursday, January 27. Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN).
