Connecticut High School Basketball - East Lyme nips Ledyard
January 24, 2022: East Lyme, CT 06333 East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT), 53-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Lyme upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Vikings host Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Old Lyme lost 53-35 in their recent league bout against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)
Next up, the Colonels play the Enfield Eagles (Enfield, CT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 26. Ledyard will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 46-45 non-league win over New Britain (New Britain, CT).
