New Jersey High School Basketball - Metuchen can't hold off Edison
January 24, 2022: Edison, NJ 08817 The Edison Eagles basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Metuchen Bulldogs to 35 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middlesex for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 25. Edison will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 64-36 non-league win over Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ). The Bluejays record now stands at 7-2.
The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ). The Owls come into the Greater Middlesex - Blue contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Highland Park edged Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ), 68-30, in a non-league contest.
