Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH), 57-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Alliance upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Aviators travel to West Branch (Beloit, OH) to play the Warriors in a Eastern Buckeye bout on Friday, January 27. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 7-6. West Branch lost 51-40 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Canton Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
