Missouri High School Basketball - Savannah overwhelmed by Clarinda
January 24, 2023: Savannah, MO 64485 The Clarinda Cardinals basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Savannah Savages to 35 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Mills for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Clarinda will battle a team coming off a 68-60 league win over Stanton (Stanton, IA). The record now stands at 14-2.
The Savages (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO). The Fighting Irish come into the Midland Empire contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Lafayette was routed by Olathe East (Olathe, KS), 60-52, in a league contest.
