Kentucky High School Basketball - East Jessamine holds off Model
January 24, 2023: Richmond, KY 40475 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) and the host Model Patriots (Richmond, KY), saw East Jessamine's basketball squad hold off Model by a tally of 69-63.
With the victory, East Jessamine improves its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Burgin (Burgin, KY) to confront the Bulldogs in a District 46 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-12.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Model will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 79-42 non-league win over Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY).
