Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes (Eau Claire, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Superior Spartans (Superior, WI), 62-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eau Claire Memorial upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Old Abes travel to River Falls (River Falls, WI) to play the Wildcats in a Big Rivers bout on Saturday, January 28. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-4. River Falls won 58-54 in their recent non-league bout against Superior (Superior, WI)

Next up, the Spartans play the Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Superior will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record.
