January 24, 2023: Jacksonville, FL 32224 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Providence School Stallions (Jacksonville, FL) and the visiting Fleming Island Golden Eagles (Orange Park, FL), saw Providence School's basketball squad wallop Fleming Island by a tally of 63-28.
With the victory, Providence School improves its record to 21-1 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Bishop Snyder (Jacksonville, FL) to confront the Cardinals in a 3A District 3 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Bishop Snyder lost 49-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Bolles (Jacksonville, FL)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Potter's House Christian Blue Lions (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Fleming Island will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 67-65 league loss to DME Academy Blue (Daytona Beach, FL).
